The EFOMP ET Committee strives to develop and harmonize the Education and Training of Medical Physicists and Medical Physics Experts in Europe.
Educational Research is carried out by Special Interest Groups (SIGs). The SIG ‘Research in the Education and Training of Medical Physicists’ researches curriculum development for Medical Physicists and Medical Physics Experts, whilst the SIG ‘Biomedical Physics Education for the Healthcare Professions’ researches curriculum development in Biomedical Physics for the medical, dental and healthcare professions.

EFOMP through its ET committee is a co-organiser of the European School of Medical Physics (ESMP). EFOMP awards up to two bursaries annually to help medical physicists at an early stage in their career to participate in the ESMP. Have a look at Leila's report... More information can be found here.
The European Conference of Medical Physics (ECMP) is the main annual conference for Medical Physicists in Europe. The EFOMP ECMP award helps medical physicists at an early stage in their career to be able to attend. The application form for the EFOMP ECMP Award can be found here.
